Adding Content to Your Watchlist

1. Choose your desired movie or show and click on it.
2. On the video details page, look for the "Watchlist" icon, symbolized by three horizontal lines with a '+' sign.
3. Tap the icon, and voila! Your selected video is now added to your Watchlist. The icon will change into a check mark (✔) indicating successful addition.

Accessing Your Watchlist

Most of our content on CANDY STUDIO can be downloaded to your device so you can watch them later. This feature is currently available on our Android and iOS app only.

To download a video, follow the steps below:

• Log in to your account (You need to be logged in to be able to download content)
• You can download content in either of the two ways:
• When browsing for content, tap the 3 dots situated at the bottom right corner of a video thumbnail and tap "Save offline"
• On the video details page, tap the "Download" (down arrow) icon just below the video. 
• Choose between Internal memory or SD card (if available) to save the file. 
• Choose the quality of the video you want to download. You can also make this your default setting by selecting the option "Make this my default setting". This will disable the prompt to choose a quality each time you download a video.

Note: 

• The option to download will only be presented on Movies and TV Episodes individually. The option to download a full season of a TV Series isn't available currently.
• You may not see an option to download some videos, as they're subject to copyright. 
• If you're a registered user, downloads will remain active for 48 hours, post which the downloads would expire. You'd need to re-download the video once expired. 
• If you're a subscribed user, downloads will remain active till your subscription end date or for 48 hours, whichever is earlier. You'll need to re-download the video once expired. 
• If you're a subscribed user, If you go offline (without an internet/data connection) the downloaded video will remain active for a period of 48 hours only. Post which you will need to re-activate the downloaded video by connecting to the internet and clicking on 'Restore Download' on the downloaded video. This will not download the video again, but merely renew the downloaded video license.
• Subtitles are not available for downloaded content.

To change your default video quality when downloading a video, follow the steps by selecting the platform you're viewing CANDY STUDIO on:

Changing your default download video quality

To change your default video quality when downloading a video on the iOS App, follow the steps below:

1. Tap on "More" at the bottom right corner of the screen.
2. Tap on "Settings" under "Language & Settings" section.
3. Under "Downloaded videos" tap on Quality. 
4. Tap the option you'd like to set as your default download video quality. 

To delete a video, follow the steps given below:

1. Visit the Downloads  section.
2. Click on the video you wish to delete.
3. Click the video again.
4. Tap Delete Download.

I'm unable to download a video

Follow the steps below till your issue is resolved:

1. Close the App and open it again
   
2. Restart your Device
   
3. Update the CANDY STUDIO App
   
4. Clear the App Cache & Data
   
5. Uninstall & Reinstall the App

If you are a registered customer without a subscription plan, downloads have a validity period of 48 hours, post which the download will expire. Once expired, you would need to re-download the video.
If you are a registered customer with a subscription plan, downloads have a validity period of 30 days or the Subscription end date, whichever is earlier, post which the download will expire. Once expired, you would need to re-download the video.

Can you check if the volume level of your device has gone down?

If it hasn't, follow the steps below to resolve the issue:

1. Close the app and try again.
2. Update the CANDY STUDIO App.
3. Try re-downloading and playing the same video.

We have various video quality options for our users to choose from when downloading a video.

Upon clicking the 'Download' button on any video, you’ll be presented with the ‘Download Video Quality’ option where you can select the 'Data saver' option to consume the least data when downloading a video.

If you aren’t presented with the ‘Download Video Quality’ option, follow the steps below to change the setting:

1. Tap More on the bottom right corner of your screen.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Under Downloads, set the Quality to Data Saver.

This may be due to an unstable internet connection or a congested network, due to multiple people/devices being connected to the same network at a time.

To speed up your downloads, please ensure you have a stable and fast internet connection.

This can happen when your downloaded video has expired. You will need to download the video again.
As a registered user with a subscription plan, downloads have a validity period of 48 hours, post which the download will expire.
If you have a subscription plan, downloads have a validity period of 1 month or the Subscription end date, whichever is earlier, post which the download will expire.
